The setting of the other nav aids (frequency, course) is done in the same way. Note that if an ADF receiver is selected, pressing on the BFO key will activate the Beat Frequency Oscillator. Note : when a RMP is used to tune an ILS/DME, the PFD do not display the DME distance. NAVIGATION MENU Abnormal operation (B) 31/40 To use the RMP for communication frequency change, you must deselect the STBY NAV mode by pressing the NAV key. Any nav aids using STBY NAV mode will remain tuned.
