February 2002 WTT face to face CFMI / Boeing Proprietary Information - Unauthorized Disclosure, Use, or Export are Prohibited 1<BR>Universal AVM<BR>February 2002 WTT face to face CFMI / Boeing Proprietary Information - Unauthorized Disclosure, Use, or Export are Prohibited 2<BR>Background<BR>• Boeing introduced a Universal AVM on 737NG airplanes starting with L/N746<BR>which delivered Jan 2001<BR>• Universal AVM designed for use on 737-300-900, 757, and 747/767<BR>airplanes with PW4000, CF6-80C2 PMC and FADEC, and RB211-524<BR>engines<BR>• To accommodate the multi-model usage, three signature pins were added to<BR>airplane equipment rack<BR>Universal AVM<BR>February 2002 WTT face to face CFMI / Boeing Proprietary Information - Unauthorized Disclosure, Use, or Export are Prohibited 3<BR>Interchangeability<BR>• AVM interchangeability information for the 737-300-900 is provided in Boeing<BR>Service Letter 737-SL-77-015-C dated 26 Apr 2001<BR>• Previous AVMs can be installed on all 737NG airplanes (Boeing P/N<BR>S360N021-113, -114, -203, -213)<BR>• The universal AVM can be installed on all 737NG airplanes. Airplanes<BR>prior to L/N 746 require Boeing SB 737-77-1056, dated 16 Aug 2001<BR>• Boeing SB 737-77-1055 scheduled for release by end of 2nd Qtr 2002 for<BR>737-300-500 airplanes allow installation of the universal AVM on these<BR>airplanes<BR>• The universal AVM will function similar to the S360N021-113 or -114.<BR>Changes to the AMM to show the universal AVM are scheduled for the<BR>June 2002 revision of the AMM<BR>• Adding the proposed flow chart is also scheduled for the June 2002 AVM<BR>revision<BR>Universal AVM
