Damaged Baggage
(A passenger has just arrived at Pu dong International Airport from Los Angeles on Northwest Airlines．She found that her baggage was scratched．)
P: well sir, I’ve just got nay suitcase from the belt and I find it is scratched．
A: Oh，I’m sorry, madam．We’11 take responsibility if it’s our fault．
P: How d’you do it? It was a new case that I had bought just before I came here．
A: Our airline will have it repaired and return it to you within three days．
P: I’m not interested in repairs．As it is practically brand-new I’d like the money, in cash．
P: I feel regretful about your scratched case，but if it is irreparable we will offer you a new one or replace it with one of the Same type．Is that acceptable to you?
A: That’s okay．
P: Would you please fill out the Irregularity Report?
A: Here you are．
P: Thank you．We’11 get in touch with you within a few days and deliver the case to you as soon as it is repaired．May I ask where I call contact you?
A: Here’s my card．And phone numbers both for my office and home．I expect to hear from you soon．
P: Thank you．Once again，1 would like to apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you mad look forward to having you fly with us again．

行李受损
