• CFM56-7B fleet performance retention similar to -3C1 operation
- Initial on-wing margins significantly higher for similar
ratings providing longer on-wing life
• Thrust operation impacts on performance retention
- Slightly lower deterioration rates with 22k and 24k versus 27k rating
• CFM has noted high deterioration rates on –7B fleets that
have not incorporated periodic core wash procedures
- Typical EGT improvement of 10 -15 °c for effective core wash procedures
