• Fleet experience
 Water wash performed on PCA engine showed an EGT margin
gain of 12°C
 Two recent engine water wash on -7B27B engines,showed
gain between 15°C and 20°C
 One other operator report of water washing every 1000 hours
– No data of gain but low deterioration rate reported

Water Wash
• Water Wash
Two Transavia engines (-7B27) washed on Nov 9th 2000,
ESN 874-201 pos1 :TSN/CSN 9576 / 3470
ESN 874-204 pos2 : TSN/CSN 9576/ 3470
The two engines were successfully water washed within two hours and
half using a procedure with dedicated equipment for direct water
ingestion in the primary flowpath.
Preliminary results showed significative EGT margin gain ; between 15°C
and 22°C
Values to be confirmed with more performance datas feed-back.
