Engine Oil Consumption
Introduction of BP Turbo Oil 2380
ExxonMobil merger completed in January 2001
 Required divestment of Esso/Exxon Air Lubrication
 British Petroleum was the successful bidder
BP Turbo Oil 2380 has replaced former Esso/Exxon Turbo Oil 2380
 Product formulation is unchanged
 Produced in the same manufacturing plant, with same procedures and personnel
 Brand name cut-over on August 10, 2001 for new orders
 CFMI Service Bulletin 79-001 has been revised to provide approval of BPTO 2380
Airlines which use Esso/Exxon Turbo Oil 2380 should revise oil servicing placards
 Engine Oil and IDG Oil servicing placards (reference AMM 11-25-01)
 APU Oil servicing placard (reference AMM 11-21-20)
 Boeing has introduced revised placards in production (L/N 1044)
 New placard may be ordered through Boeing Spares (P/N BAC27DAP30)
