Improvements
• PSS SB 73-0065 issued in Aug 2001 to
replace 73-043 on all non-pmux EEC in the
field shown in pictures to the right
• BAE Systems will offer 73-0065 at a
discounted price of $5,000 (Vs. The current
catalog price of $9,100) - Discount applicable
only for work performed at BAE
• EEC with 73-043 implemented by BAE will be
warranted at 15,000 flight hours or 5 years
whichever occurs first (Vs standard warranty
of 1000 flight hours or 1 year) If the flex fails
during the warranty, BAE will incorporate
73-0065 free of charge
• Recommend that any Non-pmux EEC’s that
did not have 73-043 implemented (S/N 4100-
5500) have 73-0065 implemented
• Those that have 73-043 type design (S/N
5501-6749) only have 73-0065 done by
attrition
