Target Population 􀁸 Students intending to acquire a variation of their Part-66 Cat
B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence to include the Airbus
A318/A319/A320/A321 (CFM 56) aircraft type
Prerequisite 􀁸 Completion of the Part-66 Cat B1 basic training.
Exceptions may be granted by the Director of Technical
Training if the student’s prequalification is considered
sufficient to follow the type training course.
Objective 􀁸 provide approved Part-147 Cat B1 type training fulfilling the
applicable Part-66 requirements
􀁸 conduct Part-66 examination and practical assessment

Assessment
Knowledge examinations will be held at the conclusion of each
ATA chapter block, in general on a weekly basis, or as an
alternative at the end of the course.
Practical assessments will be held in the course of practical
training as defined by the practical training task list.
