Aerostar FESTIVAL R40S – Special Light Sport Aircraft
FESTIVAL R40S is designed to fulfil the requirements of the LIGHT SPORT AIRCRAFT category in the USA. It is suitable for basic flight instruction, aircraft rental, flying clubs, and leisure flying. Festival offers the pilot an exceptional flight experience. It is designed and manufactured by AEROSTAR S.A. – ROMANIA, the worldwide producer of the famous YAK 52, YAK 52 W and YAK 52 TW aerobatic training aircraft. The aircraft is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9000 and JAR 21 production standards. All avionics, instruments and equipment are of USA origin.

Engine, Accessories and Instruments: ROTAX 912 ULS engine (100 HP). The engine includes a heavy duty starter, generator, oil radiator, oil tank, oil filter, oil pump, fuel pump, carburetor, overflow box, engine mount, exhaust system. Engine instruments include oil pressure, oil temperature, cylinder head temperature, tachometer, and fuel gauges.
Propeller: Ground-adjustable, KLASSIC 170/3/R three-blade, carbon-fiber propeller with spinner.
Flight Instruments: Altimeter, airspeed indicator, compass, slip ball indicator.
Manuals and Documents: Aircraft Description, Pilot Instruction Handbook, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Engine Operation Manual, Warranty Certificate, Conformity Statement.
Delivery Condition: The aircraft is to be delivered from the Dealer’s location in “ready to fly“ condition.
Warranty: 100 flight hours or 12 months, whichever comes first. The warranty period begins on the delivery date.
