Aero Engine Maintenance Training Center (AEMTC - China)
The establishment of AEMTC signifies the commitment of GE, CFMI and SN to support of customers throughout China.
AEMTC is similar to the other two GE and CFM training centers. It is a 4,500 square meter building that consists of six
engine shop bays, and eight classrooms. AEMTC are provided with six training engines and line maintenance equipments.
AEMTC shares equal responsibility with CTEC and CTC for CF6-80C2, CFM56-3 , CFM56-5B and CFM56-7 engines.
Training courses are the same as the other training centers. Classroom presentations facilitated by experienced instructors
are supplemented with computer and/or video programs and other resources. Engines are used for hands-on practice, as
applicable. AEMTC send instructors to CTEC and CTC for training on regular basis, CTC and CTEC also send instructors
to AEMTC to conduct training classes( Advanced Engine Systems, Powerplant Engineering etc.)
Training Manuals, Training Aids, and Language
AEMTC use same training manuals, training aids, training philosophy as those in CTEC(GE) and CTC(Snecma).
All English training manuals are provided free of Charge to all students, class presentation can be in Chinese or English,
Chinese translation is provided to classes conducted by CTEC or CTC visiting instructors.
Translated (Chinese) manuals are available but not free.
