An ACFT requiring an into-wind RWY takes precedence. 13 CONTRA CIRCUITS: MIL & Approved Ex–MIL heritage type ACFT conduct contra CCTS on the non-civilian side of the circuit, with landings to the duty runway or nominated grass area. When contra CCTS are in operation, the following procedures apply to all circuit TFC: A There is no dead side of the circuit and all ACFT overshoot to their respective live side. B Crossing the Western Grass is prohibited. C All ACFT must illuminate taxi/landing lights prior to the base turn until the ACFT has landed.
