- Occurring 3000 to 5000 TSN
- Exceeds AMM limits
• Findings
- Piston rod surface finish anomaly.....orange peel condition
- Complies with surface finish requirements
- Excessive wear of Teflon slipper seal
- 165 valves, 21 Airlines affected - S/N 2102 thru 2361

- Process changed to Chrome Plate
- Grind prior to plating, establish surface finish
