消焰器释压活门提升阀
1 Introduction
The pressure relief valve prevents damage to the wing structure when there is too much positive or negative pressure in the fuel tanks. The air usually goes out of the fuel vent system through the air vent scoop. The pressure relief valve is usually closed.
When closed, it is even with the bottom surface of the wing.
When there is too much positive or negative pressure, the pressure relief valve opens. When it is open, part of the pressure relief valve is in the fuel tank. After it opens, the pressure relief valve stays in the open position. In the open position, the pressure relief valve supplies an additional vent in the surge tank.
If the valve is open, you must close it manually. Pull the reset handle to move the pressure relief valve to the closed position.
Set the poppet to the closed position manually
(a) Hold the manual reset knob and pull it down until the poppet is aligned with the skin. (b) Hold the manual reset knob down for 5 seconds. (c) Slowly release the manual reset knob to make sure the poppet is locked in the closed position. (d) Continue to release the manual reset knob until the return spring retracts the reset knob into the opening. NOTE: The outer surface of the knob and the poppet must make a smooth surface with the airplane skin.
